How can a researcher access CCHS 2009/2010 data if the PUMF isn't yet released? Would they need to go through an RDC if the PUMF isn't released?
Answer
The CCHS 2009/2010 PUMF is scheduled to be released in September 2011 (please note that this is a tentative date). This PUMF therefore won't be available through any channels before that date.
The CCHS 2009-2010 analytical file is currently available through the RDCs for researchers with an accepted proposal. The researcher may wish to approach your local RDC (http://www.statcan.gc.ca/rdc-cdr/network-reseau-eng.htm) if this is of interest.
CCHS 2009-2010 aggregate data are also available in the products described under Link to related products on the left side bar on: http://www.statcan.gc.ca/cgi-bin/imdb/p2SV.pl?Function=getSurvey&SDDS=3226&lang=en&db=imdb&adm=8&dis=2
