A student is looking for data on the value of property seized by the police in Canada between 1991 and 2006. Do you have any suggestions as to where these data might be obtained? I´ve looked in Justice Statistics, and it doesn´t seem to capture this information.

While looking into your question, I came across a few references to the Seized Property Management Directorate of Public Works and Government Services Canada (http://www.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/apropos-about/fi-fs/bs-spm-eng.html). Their website provides some figures for 1998-1999 to 2008-2009 that may help the student. Their administrative reports may provide additional figures.
Our public sector statistics contacts have confirmed that they don't collect these data.
