I have a researcher who’s working with government revenue and expenditure stats (Table 385-0002). It covers 1989 to 2009, and she’d like to know if comparable stats are available for earlier years, ideally back to 1971.

“The historical data for government revenue and expenditure is as such:
384-0022 Federal government 1961-1980
384-0023 Provincial government 1961-1980
384-0024 Local government 1961-1980

There seems to be a break between 1980 and 1989 (where data begin in 385-0002)”
