Statistics Canada is pleased to announce the release of the updated version of the Health Profile, October 2011 and Health Trends, October 2011 Internet applications.
Health Statistics Division and the Census Internet Development Team have updated the online Health Profile product with the latest health region boundary changes (see related What’s new for details). The online Health Trends product has also been updated with cancer incidence data from the Canadian Cancer Registry Database for 2009 as well as low birth weight and other indicators from the Vital Statistics data for 2008 (see related What's new for details).
There are different ways to access the Health Profile or Health Trends Internet applications from the Statistics Canada home page. Users can either click on the Health in Canada module, or click on the 'Latest census data' link under the 'Census' heading, in the right-hand navigation bar, and enter through the 'Features' or 'Census news' links.
