A team of researchers studying water quality and “containment feed” models would like to obtain the list of drinking water plants used in the Survey of Drinking Water Plants (survey #5149). Would you be able to indicate whether this is possible – or is there someone else that we should contact?
Answer
We consulted the group responsible for the Survey of Drinking Water Plants and such a list unfortunately is not available. More specifically, they indicated that "At this time we do not have a product that provides information about the physical location of water & wastewater utilities in Canada.". I will send you the coordinates of a research officer the research team can consult if they have any follow up questions related to this request.
